A pretty town in North Wales, Beaumaris has a lot to offer for a small place. Beaumaris is located on the Menai Strait and is full of history. Beaumaris Castle is a fantastic example of a medieval castle dating back to the reign of Edward I. You can also enjoy features such as a Victorian pier, gaol & courthouse. Beaumaris is also an important location to experience yachting and also is the home of two golf courses within walking distance of the town centre. |
| There are a variety of good shopping locations, restaurants and public houses in the town. Future plans to improve the town of Beaumaris include the building of a marina with work planned to start in the near future. Beaumaris and its location is the perfect base camp for exploring the nearby Snowdonia, to experience its beauty and great walks. |

Penmon Priory
This 6th Century monastery has seen many Vicking raids in it’s time, and not much of the original structure has survived. However many renovations and additions over century’s makes it a very interesting place to visit. Located less than 2miles from Beaumaris. |
