One of Cardiff's less affluent areas, Riverside, is home to this award winning weekly farmers market.
The aim of the market is to provide local people with a chance to eat healthy, sustainable, locally grown products, which are often cheaper than the supermarket alternatives.

The market has played a significant role in helping to regenerate this formerly run down part of Cardiff.
Goods on offer at the farmers market include organic and rare breed meats, jams and chutneys, cheeses, eggs, locally-brewed ale, flowers, fruit and vegetables, breads, pastries and fresh fish.
The area is also home to a number of ethnic communities, and you will find stall holders offering authentic Indian, Chinese and Middle Eastern ingredients.
There are ample choice of places to eat at the market, with food stalls offering everything from Duck burgers to vegan food!
The owners of the market have recently started their own market garden, 8 miles from Cardiff City Centre, in order to fulfil the demand for organic, locally grown fruits and vegetables.
The crops from the garden are then sold at the market, with local schools taking part in the care of the garden and horticultural lessons for local people are also held there.
However, the market is not just about food - a number of craft stalls are a relatively new addition, which the market owners hope will provide a platform for local people to showcase their creative talents.
