Dartmouth

Dartmouth can be found in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Beauty, lying on the banks of the River Dart estuary. With the A379 running through the town linking to Kingsbridge, Dartmouth enjoys its position as a transportation-friendly destination, despite being in a rather rural area.

With a rich and diverse history, Dartmouth has a reputation as a hotspot for tourists, with many things to see and do both in and around the town centre. Being a coastal location, the nearby Blackpool Sands feature a golden beach surrounded by beautiful views. The beach is a mere stone’s throw away and is the ideal spot for summer activities.

Also nearby is the Dartmouth Museum, housing local art and marine artefacts, as well as informing tourists of the town’s vibrant history, particularly concerning Dartmouth Castle, which spans era’s from medieval times to WWII.
