Located in Staffordshire, Drayton Manor has thrill rides, children's rides, a zoo and is home to Thomas Land; based on Thomas the Tank Engine.

The Apocalypse ride has often been called 'Britain's scariest ride', and features a vertical drop at an incredible speed. The G-Force rollercoaster slows down whilst upside down in a loop – not for those with weak stomachs! Other big rides include Europe's only standing up rollercoaster and a reverse log flume. There are also calmer water rides, and children's rides such as carousels and 4D movie adventures.
Drayton Manor has developed 15 acres as an open-plan zoo. Visitors can see tigers, meerkats, penguins, primates and many other species. The zoo runs various schemes for animal lovers, such as adopt an animal and the chance to be a zoo keeper for a day. A farm is located next to the zoo, where visitors can see native animals such as rabbits and goats.
Thomas Land is a big pull for young visitors. The town of Sodor is recreated in parkland at Drayton Manor, complete with rides featuring Thomas and his friends. There is an indoor play area and a themed gift shop at Thomas Land. Also of interest is the original Thomas the Tank Engine set from the TV show, which is on display.
During holiday periods there are scheduled shows throughout the day. These include displays and singing and dancing performances. Contact Drayton Manor for the details of the latest events and times.
