Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport is the capital airport of Scotland, UK. More than 40 airlines use the airport serving more than a 100 travel destinations. As well as domestic and European flights there are also routes to New York, Toronto and Orlando.

The airport is about 8 miles west of Edinburgh city centre, and is accessed by the A8 from the M8 and M9 motorways. There are pick up points on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park which is a short walk to the arrivals hall. Drop off points are situated directly opposite the main terminal.

There are both short and long stay car parks at the airport – short stay being close to the terminal building, and long stay just a short courtesy bus ride away (buses run every 10 minutes from the terminal). Short stay parking is at present £4.10 per hour.

Edinburgh has two main rail stations, Haymarket and Waverley, both in the centre. There is a bus –  the Airlink - which links the airport and rail station, a journey which takes around 30 minutes. This runs every 10 minutes. A night bus takes the same route during the night and runs every 30 minutes.
