Fishguard is a coastal town and seaside resort located within Pembrokeshire, south-west Wales.
Being particularly famous for its stunning surroundings and excellent countryside, the wildlife around Fishguard shows a wide variety of colourful wild flowers and sea mammals including grey seals, porpoises and dolphins. The local birdlife consists of a number of seabirds fishing in the lower harbour and Cormorants can be seen from the coastal path. Amongst the sites of historical importance is the ancient Royal Oak Pub, the site of the signing of the surrender following the 1797 Battle of Fishguard, said to be the last invasion of Britain.
