Flights from the Isle of Man airport go to most major cities in the UK including London Gatwick, London Luton, London City Airport, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Guernsey, Jersey, Southampton, Newcastle, Liverpool, Gloucester, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast.
A daily bus service stops outside the airport and takes passengers to Douglas, Santon, Ballasalla Mondays to Saturdays. Another bus service also stops at Port Erin and Peel. A taxi rank is situated at the airport and is ready to transport passengers from all the incoming flights – there is a fixed tariff for travel from the airport to various locations on the Island.
Three car hire firms operate here, Athol, Isle of Man Rentacar and Mylchreests Car Rental – and they also have offices in Douglas and Peel. Parking is available at the airport and currently the first hour of parking is free, then 50p for next hour and £3.50 for hours after that up to a maximum of 60 hours.
There is a cash machine in the main concourse but passengers need to visit the towns of Ballasalla in order to access full banking facilities and currency exchanges. Both British sterling and Manx sterling can be used within both the airport and the island as a whole.
There is a Skylines Travellers Store on the first floor of the airport which sells newspapers, books and confectionery. A restaurant – the Rendezvous Lounge sells hot and cold drinks and food, and has Wi Fi access. There are baby change facilities both in the toilets and in the cafe. On the first floor there is a viewing area which allows passengers to watch incoming and departing flights close up.
Left Luggage facilities are available at the check in area of the terminal. A full concierge service is also available from the Western end of the terminal.
