Kettering is a town in the north of the county of Northamptonshire, England on the River Ise. Amongst the many attractions that make Kettering so popular is Wicksteed Park, Britain's oldest theme park that remains a popular family day out to this day.
There are a number of accommodation choices across the area, as well as a great selection of places to eat. The town itself has a few shops and different buildings of interest, with many leisurely walks around the outskirts. The town has a railway station as well as transport links to the A14 and A43, which lead you to the nearby towns of Thrapston and Broughton.
