Luton Airport
Luton airport is the UK’s fifth largest with 95% of its customers flying on scheduled flights. The most popular destinations are Dublin, Warsaw, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Malaga, Budapest, Geneva, Belfast and Palma.
As well as short and long term parking facilities the airport also runs a ‘mid term’ parking option whereby customers can park for up to 60 minutes free and receive a free shuttle service to the main terminal which is very convenient when dropping off or picking up passengers from flights.
If travelling by bus or coach the airport has links to every major town or city in the UK and the drop off points are situated at the front of the main terminal. There is an express Green Line coach which takes passengers from the airport into central London. Easy Bus also operates a 24 hour service into the centre with fares starting at £2 one way. There are numerous bus services operating in and around Luton airport in order to get around the local area.
Licensed hackney cabs operate from the front of the forecourt and are available 24 hours. Four car hire companies have concessions at the airport and there is a free shuttle service connecting customers with the car pick up and drop off points.
A left luggage facility is situated next to the Check-in concourse and it operates 24 hours per day. Prices are currently £5 per item for 24 hours and payment is also accepted in Euros.
There is a wide variety of eateries from Burger King to Yam Yam to go and shops include Marks and Spencer’s and a large duty free. Baby care facilities are available throughout the airport as well as comprehensive help for people with special needs including help points and a special assistance waiting area.
