Minehead is a coastal town found in the North West of the county of Somerset in England. The town is home to the family-favourite Butlins holiday park, and as a result features a number of great beach attractions, including a beautiful beach for summer activities. Other attractions include the terminus of the West Somerset Railway and the Minehead & West Somerset Golf Club, which is Somerset's oldest golf club, established in 1882.
There are a variety of sailing and wind surfing activities that can be enjoyed by residents and visitors alike. In addition, there are many other attractions and amusement arcades as well as a number of high street stores in which to enjoy some retail therapy.

Dunster Castle was a gift from William the Conqueror to the Mohun family in the 11th Century, and stayed in their possession for almost 300 years.
The Luttrell family then made it their family home until as recently as 1976, when the National Trust took over its maintenance and opened it to the public.
