Moreton-in-Marsh is a town and civil parish in the North East of the county Gloucestershire, England. Moreton has many buildings in characteristic Cotswold stone, numerous antique shops and several hotels. Also nearby is the Wellington Aviation Museum, a museum of the history of the Vickers Wellington bomber.
Other local attractions include Batsford Arboretum near Batsford village and the onion-domed Sezincote house and gardens. The town is accommodating towards tourists with a variety of shops both independent and well known, as well as a great variety of restaurants and cafes.

A Jacobean country house built during the early 17th Century, Chastleton House has been the home to a single family in all that time.
Now preserved by the National Trust, visitors can gaze at all manner of fascinating objects and marvel at the kitchen ceiling which hasn’t been cleaned since 1612!
