Paignton is a coastal town in Devon in England, known as the English Riviera. The town features a number of ideal summer coast activities, most of which are hosted at Paignton beach and the nearby Preston Sands.
Paignton beach and Preston Sands are used for water sports including kite surfing and dinghy sailing. The nearby Hollicombe beach features a geological stratotype at its northern end, known as the "Corbyn's Head Member” and Elberry Cove is a popular place for jet ski enthusiasts, while Saltern Cove is known as a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to its distinctive geology.
Compton Castle

This zoo is like one big worldwide nature trail, you can see the wildlife from Africa, America and Asia, and many native animals as well. Located in Totnes Road. (01803 697 500)

Located four miles from Paignton is this treasure trove of historical collections in Brixton. Several centuries of political and social history is displayed here.
