Plymouth City Airport
Plymouth airport is situated 5 miles from the centre of Plymouth and can be accessed by road from the Derriford roundabout (A386) which is signposted. Parking is currently £8.00 per day (free for first 15 minutes for dropping off passengers) and £2.00 for up to 30 minutes if collecting friends or family.
Taxis operate from the terminal building and the journey time into Plymouth city centre is around 15 minutes. Air Southwest operate an on board booking service so that a taxi can be available to collect passengers on arrival at the airport. Average fares from the airport to the centre of Plymouth are £7.50 at the moment.
A bus service runs from Derriford roundabout which is a 10 minute walk from the airport. Plymouth Citibus services 28 and 28A operate from here with services into the city centre as well as to Plymouth train station. First Bus also runs a service from Derriford roundabout which stops at Derriford Hospital as well as in Plymouth town centre and Tavistock, a service known as the Tavy Link service.

Scheduled flights travel to London Gatwick, Manchester via Bristol, Newcastle, Jersey, Dublin, Glasgow, and Leeds via Bristol daily. Planes can also be chartered – from private jets, helicopters, light aircraft and turboprops from any UK destination or worldwide.
Check in for scheduled flights closes 30s minutes before the planes departure and passengers must allow enough time to complete all the formalities before this time.
There is a cafe bar on site which serves a selection of hot and cold food and drinks – it is open during the hours of flights. There is also a fully licensed bar on the premises.
