BFS Belfast International Airport

Flights from Belfast International include both chartered and scheduled flights to a large variety of world destinations including Bulgaria, Canada, Italy, Greece, Spain, Mexico, Poland, The Netherlands, Portugal, Tunisia, Turkey and the USA. There are also a large number of domestic flight destinations within the UK.

Belfast airport is centrally located just 18 miles north west of Belfast within easy access of many major motorways. There is a pick up and drop off area at the front of the terminal for cars with passengers and a charge of £1.00 is charged for ten minutes of waiting. Short stay parking costs £1.00 per hour. The long stay car park should be booked in advance in order to get discounts and at present costs £4.00 per day.

Rail links into Belfast, Londonderry and Lisburn run from the nearest train station, Antrim, which is only 6 miles away. The station can be reached via an hourly bus service which drops off passengers just adjacent to the station. Alternatively there is a 24 hour taxi rank which is situated just outside the exit lobby of the airport. There are also six car hire companies operating from Belfast airport, all manned to receive incoming flights.

Passengers wishing to travel to Dublin can do so via the high speed Enterprise Train which runs from Belfast Central Station.

Shopping facilities at the airport include W H Smith, Boots and a range of boutiques for last minute gifts. There are also a wide range of places to eat and drink including Burger King, the Food Village, bar des Voyageurs and Starbucks. There are Bureaux de Change facilities available for both departing and arriving passengers, as well as a visitor’s information desk situated in the arrivals lobby.

A Special needs assistance desk is situated on the left hand side of the check in hall for people requiring help due to disability.
