The Cheddar Cheese Inn
The couple who run this pub are really friendly and they pull a good pint. While the food is standard pub fare, it's home made and pretty decent. The fire makes it welcoming and the locals are always up for a chat. We didn't stay the night, but wouldn't hesitate to in the future. It's worth venturing up the dark lane for. Jo Smith
Losehill House Hotel and Spa
Nestled in the rolling hills just outside Hope is a luxury hotel which is ideal for a get away from it all treat. I spent two newly married days there and ate two fabulous evening meals and had two breakfasts to die for. The waiters are brilliant. I didn't indulge in a spa treatment, but spent time in the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Our room was spacious and I wanted to take the duvet home. There were a few cobwebs, but I forgave them this minor oversight. Jo Smith
