An old steelworks houses this Science Adventure Centre, a stone's throw from Sheffield. There are rooms dedicated to fire, air, earth and water where you can learn with hands-on games and attractions. It's an interactive experience which is fun and educational. The Big Melt, which re-creates the steel making process through a scary pyrotechnic display, impressed me the most. A great day out for the kids. Jo Smith
